Congratulations to Marco Island’s new PBA Directors Ed D’Alessandro and Linda Guerrero who will serve the remainder of the current term until the Gulf Coast Chapter Board Election in March 2012.  Ed and Linda will be voting members on the Board of Directors, which involves making collective decisions for the Chapter. As Directors, each individual is bound by the Gulf Coast Chapter FLPBA By-Laws, which indicate that actions for each law enforcement entity may be taken only with prior approval from the President or Board of Directors.

Thank you to all of the applicants who expressed interest in the position; please always stay involved as we welcome member input.

The first order of business for our new Directors is to meet with PBA staff to discuss the next contract between the City of Marco Island and the Gulf Coast Chapter FLPBA. I look forward to meeting with Ed and Linda to hear about the concerns of our members and work together to improve Marco Island P.D.’s workplace.
